The Reading Club provides
the opportunity to ESL students to practice and learn new vocabulary and have better skills to read to their children. The goal of the reading club is to provide an extra class for ESL students, participate as a volunteer in Head Start Classrooms and learn how to read in their own family. This class is free of charge; it is open to all parents that want to read to their children in English. For more information, contact Irma Olea at 602.233.0017 or email iolea@arizonaschildren.org.
Citizenship Classes are available to those living
in Arizona as legal aliens. Classes take place on Saturdays for four weeks and require a $50 registration fee. Students will study
from the INS guide, and will be provided with the tools for understanding
the foundation of America. For more information, contact Irma Olea at 602.233.0017 or email iolea@arizonaschildren.org.
