Fitness and Recreation Activities
Golden Gate Community Center offers an array of activities for children, youth and adults. The Center’s full size gymnasium can accommodate basketball, volleyball, soccer and many other activities
Structured aerobics classes are offered for women of all fitness levels. There are a variety of classes that target not only fat loss but also muscle tone. Golden Gate is proud to announce that we are offering Zumba classes, a high energy, low impact Latin dance style aerobics. Health evaluations and coaching are available free of charge with membership.
The classes are for women 16 and older. Seniors are welcome.
Morning adult classes are offered Tuesday through Friday from 8 – 9 am
Afternoon classes are offered 6-7pm, Monday through Thursday.

Monthly cooking classes for youth
The Character Counts program is offered during school intercession breaks for children ages 7-10. Participants learn about the six pillars of character through video presentations and discussion.
Golden Gate offers Structured volleyball and basketball leagues for 4th and 5th grade students at 8 elementary schools in the Isaac School District. Schools include Mitchell, P.T. Coe, Alta E. Butler, Joseph Zito, J.B. Sutton, Moya, Esperanza and Morris K. Udall.
